Why have the Quooker tap?
What is a Quooker?
Invented by Henri Peteri in 1970, the Quooker ethos for continual development has seen the tap evolve over the years. This has led to a wider choice in design and finish, there’s no hot tap more convenient than a Quooker. The vacuum sealed thermos tank sits inside your cabinet under your sink and connects to the water mains and the tap. The tank holds a reservoir of water at a constant temperature of 110°. When the boiling function is activated on the Quooker, an aerated stream of 100° boiling water instantly flows from the tap.
Boiling water will only flow once you’ve deliberately pressed the dial twice before turning. The boiling water that leaves the spout is then aerated, which stops it spluttering and scolding. The deliberate action required to turn on the boiling water also functions as a child proof solution.
For the chilled and sparkling functionality, you need The CUBE. This is a separate unit that connects to the main Quooker tank.
Design
Quooker offers a range of styles and finishes in Traditional or modern styles as well as considering a number of colour options, so your tap can look perfect within any kitchen finish.
You can choose from the Fusion range available in round or square styling to suit both modern and traditional kitchens as this range is also available in Quookers classic look with added ornate detail.
The Flex features a round tap with a flexible pull-out hose. Depending on the style of tap you opt for, the ranges of finishes available include, polished chrome, stainless steel, matte black, gold and patinated brass; allowing you to make your Quooker to the other hard ware in your kitchen.
Difference between a Kettle & Quooker
A kettle is used to boil water but just to a certain temperature such as 90°C. A Quooker tap boils up to 100°C while maintaining insulation that runs inside the tap preventing the spout from getting too hot avoiding any burns when you touch it.
Say goodbye to busy worktops with wires and kettle or stove top tea pots, a Quooker stays in one place in your kitchen.
The Quooker provides everyday convenience and is a much reliable incredible design; created to save time and enjoy your tea in less than 5 seconds by pouring already boiling water into your mug.
You can dispense your water directly into your mug or pan. So no electricity or water is wasted, costing just 3p per day in energy costs to run its boiling water taps on standby. If you use your kettle several times per day, a Quooker tap is likely to be cheaper from an energy use point of view, as the cost of boiling one litre in a kettle is 2.3p.

What is a Kaelo?
Kaelo is an integrated wine cooler that keeps wine perfectly chilled once the bottle is opened.
It really is that efficient, take a cold bottle from the fridge, put it in your Kaelo and touch the crown. That’s it.
Kaelo will keep the bottle within 1-2oC of the opening temperature whilst you drink it. No refills, no drips or mess and no maintenance, just perfectly chilled wine.

The Crown
The crown is made from stainless steel, then polished by hand to a mirror or brushed finish. They then use stainless steel, rather than chrome plating; as it’s more durable and creates a more reliable product.
Crowns come in a signature steel finish (mirror-polished or brushed) as standard, and are also available in eight premium finishes.
